Not got one but had several looks at it etc. Build quality is excellent if a bit dark in the cabin.

The only thing for me was the running cost, the new mild hybrid engine’s fuel economy is barely any improvement.  With mostly short (under 20 miles round trips) it gets about 35mpg.  I started looking at full hybrids (FEV/HEV) Ford Kuga, Renault Austral etc. and they give 50+mpg saving (for me) over £1000 in fuel over the 3 years.

That said, I may now have the option of going full electric as my local council have agreed to fit a cable gully into the footpath inbetween my garden and where my car parks.  I worked out fuel costs doing 17000 miles over the 3 years, a petrol car would cost me about £3000 or £2000 in a full Hybrid.  A full electric would be under £500!.

As I said I don’t have a CX-5 but I almost ordered one!, also being very tempted byt the gorgeous CX-60 PHEV 🙂 if it was full electric I’d order one today 🙂

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
