@kezo Truly the reason why this site works so well as a resource, your explanation of installation is excellent. Thank you for taking the time, I found it very useful. My meter is outside, very close to where the charger will go, but my consumer unit is about 10m away, obviously inside, and through a very thick (barn conversion) wall. I was wondering if I’d be left with a big double cable run across the front of my house but your guide suggests they’ll probably install an external consumer unit instead. Hope so!
When they know its a 2-3ft thick stone wall they most definately connect to your meter box!
