it is pointless holding off ordering hoping for an ap reduction, if you can afford the current ap then order as it gets your prodduction slot, if the ap goes down its a simple admin task for the dealer to change the numbers to the new ap. it does not affect your production slot as it only affects the motability system not bmw’s.
as to the appearance of the m sport, i am doubtful as if it did come on the ap would be on the large side and bmw can sell all they produce retail they dont need mota to shift them.
in fact as waiting times are increasing for the i4 its more likely it would be removed to dampen demand. or ap’s increased to do the same.
worst case if you order now and the m sport does come on will the higher ap be worth it? you can cancel and order one but the wait will be????
when the i3 came on i waited and waited or the ap to come down missed a marshalls 0ap offer by 12 hours and then by the time renewal was due it was taken off. so you pays your money and takes your chance.
