The 13 Amp socket needs to be plugged in either indoors or into a waterproof/ weather rated outdoor socket and available in either 5, 7 or 10 metre lengths. All chargers in stock in the UK. Suitable for use with the Hyundai Kona and the following makes and models of vehicles Kind regards Miah

Kezo I have had another look at this, I believe they are stating the 3 pin plug needs to be in a waterproof 13 amp socket regardless of manufacture or supplier ?

I must of missed that and thought we were talking about the other end!

Yes that goes without a doubt, the 3 pin plug should plug into an ip66 rated outdoor socket – the socket must have a lid that when closed tightly covers the plug and provides a seal around the flex where it exits the socket. In other words an outdoor socket where the lid does not close tightly  when a plug is inserted is not suitable!

I tend to fit MK Masterseal 2 gang but, this BG is single gang and far cheaper with same ip66 rating
