The LTA is really designed for designed duel carriage and motorway driving, default the system is switched off, however safety sense warning is always on, I always leave mine in the default setting off.
Why do you think the system was designed for dual carriageways and motorways? The whole point of me getting the car was the additional safety features, as someone who had recently became paralysed all down the right side. At no point were we told the system was only designed for dual carriageways. I only do local journeys normally. Something malfunctioned, the steering pulled to the right and the steering aid was pulled out of my hand. Tha car then crossed the centre line and hit another car without and safety features enabling. this random behaviour has been reported widely in the states and there have been a few reports over here, including on this forum.

Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.
