At our GP practise they changed prescribed Gaviscon to a cheaper, non branded type. It’s exactly the same just cheaper to the NHS. But yes you can still get it on prescription in one form or anoother.Your practise may be different. so do Ask them
I buy the Asda own brand Gaviscon, it used to be £3 for 500ml, it’s now £6.50!
