You are quite correct no one receives 100% green electricity yet and that must be a target and your friend may well be correct about his cancer but surely this just adds to the argument for less emissions and most of the world’s population can only make a difference in their own environment so if we reduce our own emissions then others will follow suite and the world becomes greener or we can do nothing. But I fear we are starting to see the results of continuously doing nothing. I don’t want to drive and preach in fact one of things I really hate about owning an EV I am no eco warrior I also feel that imposing a ban on ICE vehicles is counter productive given time people will naturally find the best way forward and manufacturers would equally find production methods more sensitive to the environment but by placing a do by date just creates cliff edge politics and social kick back
