Just a bit of very up to date info from a Vauxhall dealership. Mokka’s are now back on track for delivery dates.
I went in to my local dealership today to help a friend take delivery of her new Mokka Ultimate AT. It’s a very attractive car in a vibrant green with a black roof.
She ordered the vehicle with an AP of £799 last December. In April I contacted her to tell her that the AP had been reduced to £99 so I took her into the dealership and she was able to cancel that order and re-order straight away at the new AP (saving £700) The Vauxhall Motability rep was very helpful. Today just a few months later her new car is sitting on her driveway looking stunning.
She also has the bonus of just over 900 pounds (new car and good condition bonus) winging it’s way to her bank account without outlaying a single penny today.
An interesting aside to this little story is that her mini countryman Cooper S which she returned to Motability today is now 6 years old (67 reg and 21,000 miles only). It’s still in showroom condition and has given her much pleasure and many happy memories. A big thank you to Motability for being so helpful and accommodating to her over the past few years during a period of very poor health.
We quite rightly criticise the scheme when things go wrong, but it’s good to step back and consider the huge amount of good that Motabilty has done for so many people with disabilities.
