@kezo it made me smile when you called the Tucson a Tuscon. A mate of mine has 4 Hyundai’s in his family. His is a Santa Fe and his wife and two daughters all have Tucson’s which he pronounces as ‘Tuscan” rather than the correct “Tucson” (pronounced Too-sonn, as in Tucson Arizona).
It seems ‘Hyun-day” isn’t the only maufacturer telling us. The fancy “Š” in Škoda changes it to “sh-koader” Thankfully China is doing the hard work for us with brands like “Build Your Dreams”, Surely BYD would have sufficed, though almost certainly a car one would debadge ?
Yes, that “BUILD YOUR BREAMS” emblazoned across the back of the car looks tacky in the extreme. I would definitely remove that. As well as not having to keep replacing letters when they fall off (given the exemplary build quality of all things made in China) it’s less to burn when it inevitably catches fire during a recharge ?
