I used to work, and I used my wife’s motability car to travel to and from work (about a 5 mile round trip), I did phone motability before we joined the scheme (over 25 years ago so the only way for contact back then) and they said it was fine because my income did/was a benifit for her. The only thing they asked was that the car was always available for her, even when I’m at work , and I was working flexi time, so it wasn’t a problem if I had to leave work. Retired now so no issue, but I have never had an issue with motability not allowing it. But as always good contact with motability is a must, they are a friendly bunch
