Where I live it’s free every 2 weeks , other coloured bins are collected the following week again on a fortnightly basis
however the local authority next to mines has introduced a charge of around £45 a year to collect garden waste
so I fear it’ll only be a matter of time before other local authorities ( mine included ) follow suit
