I picked up my austral on Monday and love it . The dealership was 10 miles away and there was 110 miles to empty in the tank – I came home cross country on various roads and speeds – when I got home it showed 60 miles til empty – and it had driven 45 miles on EV & 55 miles on fuel !!!
for a large heavy medium size suv on 20” alloys it was very composed and compliment on all road surfaces.
the access, comfort and space is key priorities and I’d made a decision this was for me with the three test drives I had had prior to ordering. As well as every YouTube, on line and motoring press release. The tech and ergonomics are amazing , intuitive and easy to use (once you’ve set it all up and connected to the ‘my Renault’ app etc…. Google built in is an absolute joy too and the memory seat which moves automatically back when you open the car , to aid access, is fantastic and it moves into your saved position that you set up in memory. The heated electric drivers seat with massage is a real bonus & the seats are extremely well built, robust and confortable too.
the top spec isn’t available on the scheme so this is the mid spec. My local dealer wasn’t interested in me when I said I was motability but , I’m all my years on the scheme, I had the best service, commutation and clarity from Motorvogue Renault in Bedford
