Basically phoned a dealership in bristol who said that my motability vehicle can be delivered to my house no problem he said this many times. They turned up at my house last wednesday I signed some paperwork but forgot the pin and he forgot too. The next day the dealership phoned to say the handover wasnt done correctly and the car had to be returned so they came and took the car back Motability had said that I need special permission to get the car delivered unfortunately it was declined even though my reason for not being able to collect it was my medical issues with anxiety, panic attacks if im away too far from home, I hardly leave the house because of this. I was mislead by this dealership and basically the car is still there registered in my name, the dealership have been rude to me over the phone saying things like we do you a favour and you poop on us and the car is a lump of metal just sat here in your name now you havent collected it and being not helpful and not helping me find alternatives and I am now waiting to see if they charge me. I am worried sick if only they were honest in the first place this would not have happened. Any advice would be great Thank you
Motability would have supplied you with your pin no both in writing and electronically via your account.
You clearly state you have severe anxiety and panic attacks so I am assuming you do not hold a valid UK driving licence informed DVLA and have a nominated drive, by putting this statement online you have made Motability’s insurance company aware of your condition.
Simply provide the dealership with your pin no and a valid driving licence and they can release the vehicle.
Tell me if I have got this all wrong, I am surprised the dealership released the vehicle with the pin no.
Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.
