Indeed, I did comment on that a few days ago. The Govt is going to lose all that tax revenue from fuel sales and road tax.
They will have to be creative in creating a new tax system to make up for lost revenue. That is well known.
No problem there – someone will have to pay for lost tax in ditching fossil fuels, and it will be every tax payer in the country.
That is a given.
