The heyday for EV’s is fast approaching. The days of cheap or free charging will come to the end, perhaps those who solely charge at home may get away with some of it. The companies supplying electricity want profits, the car builders want profit and the government, which ever party, need the revenue from vehicles, so when ICE vehicles are gone the EV will have to fill the void. Plus now EV’s are not selling as well as the manufacturers want, VW are shutting down production for longer periods, at a few of their plants around the world and are hundreds of billions in debt and borrowing more. They are probably not the only manufacturer in that situation, EV’s are not selling like they thought they would.
I am about to order my next car and are thinking that it will probably be next year before delivery, if I can extend the lease for the 5 years and order within that extention I can hopefully order another Ice before 2030. That vehicle should then probably be my last.
