Back in 2008 when I was getting my 2nd Motability car I had no end of problems with the grants team. They kept telling me I could fit into cars that were far too small for me (I’m just over 6’5″ with mobility problems). It ended up with me having to go into a Nissan dealer and have the salesman watch me trying to fit into a Note and a mk1 Qashqai. Rang them from the showroom to have the salesman confirm I couldn’t even get into the Note and that my head was tilted over and pressed into the roof lining of the Qashqai ?
In the end they agreed to put a payment towards a Honda CRV, I had to pay the difference, kept that car for 5yrs, it was an excellent car ?
