Won’t ever appear, yes the price is within the schemes, but the insurance of an extra Amoy powerful car in the hands of, let’s be honest here, the majority of actual disabled people won’t have the ability nor the possible fast responses to drive the car safely.

I bet the insurance group is on par with the 300+ bhp EV6 GT line on the scheme, asides that how often are you going to put a car in launch mode on our roads.

Yes, I’m sure some of you “boy racers”  out there think you have the ability, but in the real world, without actual professional speed handling training, you don’t. I can say this, as I’ve had this training, to allow me to drive JLR high powered sports and soo Range Rovers and Aston Martins

Nice, but you don’t know the ability of other drivers on the scheme, whether they have had training or years of practice racing or ex police…

Even in our area, people still get it wrong and smash up models.

Yup even in 3 pot 1.2 which have top speeds higher than most EV’s!

if you do want to drive that way, then look elsewhere than Motability. I know this comes over preachy, but let’s remember what the scheme is for, to get disabled people safely around

I’m a great believer the scheme should be open to all, regardless of vehicle or AP. In reality the majority who wan’t higher powered cars, do so for the reasurance of overtaking safely, joining a fast road or getting out of trouble should the need ever arise.
