Hi, The Austral is a very nice car. The good thing is that they are very well specked for the price. They have the 2 of the 3 specks of the Austral on the scheme.

The basic & middle speck. Personally I’d pay the extra £500 ish for the middle speck of the car.

I don’t understand why they have not included the top speck of the car as it isn’t that much of a price difference. With the top speck having some very important and helpful features that would greatly help people with a disability. These are the panoramic roof letting in lots of light. Something I find a blessing. Then the 360° birdseye view camera. Plus 4 wheel steering. The upgraded sound system too. Although that is just a plus, rather than an essential part. So why they don’t have the top speck on is disappointing.

Aside that, it is a very nice car to drive. Very nippy indeed. I did find the gears, reverse and park that is on the stork on the right hand side of the steering wheel to be strange. Although as odd as it is, it’s very well positioned, the idea behind this is that it is all based on F1 positioning. Not that F1 cars would make sense in the mobility scheme lol.

If you’re looking at a bigger car like the X Trail, it is on the smaller side. But if you have a family of 3 or 4 then it will be ample in its size. Boot is OK, not as big as others in its class.

That aside it is a very nice car to drive, it makes & pairs up with android or Google very well.

It’s definitely on the top list of my favourite SUV’s on the scheme.

It says that it estimates 80% drive in electric. However, I’m not sure how this works. It’s nippy from start, 0-60mph in 8 seconds. That is 80s-90s cars Hot Hatch quick.

    Definitely recommend it
