I currently have a 7 seater but as long as I have space for either my son/daughter in law and their 3 children for our trips out then its fine because I know 7 seater options are very limited. My 7 seater offered a higher driving position with great visibility, if the car is low down i could fall into the seat ok, but getting up and out would be an ordeal lol, so I need to avoid that at all costs. So important to be higher up with good all round visibility. My grand children are young teenagers, so not small and still growing!
Hi Disco, from what Ive quoted in reality suggests you need a 7 seater to stay with in the law unfortunately, which limits you to the:
Dacia Jogger
VW Tiguan Allspace
Peugeot 5008 (also available in diesel)
Nissan X Trail
Skoda Kodiaq you have just missed, as a newer hybrid will launch later this year.
The Peugeot 5008 or or Nissan X Trail are the ones that would have most of the equipment you need, with perhaps the Peugeot 5008 GT spec being the better from the two as from memory will only require you to add heated seats to get the level of equipment you suggested.
The top spec Dacia Jogger gets heated seats and rearview camera but may be missing heated steering wheel, so you would need to check that. Its by far the cheapest at £1995 AP for the hybrid. The Peugeot 5008 has a 1.2 petrol engine or 1.5 diesel engine so if your fully loaded most of the time, the diesel may be the best option. The Tiguan Allspace is the basic spec Life model so won’t have much in the way of the extras you suggested in your post!
