the Mazda CX-60 looks good
I dropped into Mada first thing Sunday morning in the hope it wasnt busy and hav a good look round the cx-60. The interior had what I though was class, with the materials and buid quality of a BMW or geman marque. Mazda have cerainly got what they dreamed as a Japanese BMW especially with the cabin. A salesman as they do came over and what spec I was looking for as theres some stock around and asked if we would like a test drive in a Homura spec, being reallyimpressed with the cabin I jumped at the chance. We only had a short 15 minute test drive, going out of town and up the M4 to next junction and back, my god it went like ? of a shovel with a sub 7 seconds 0-60 however, I wasn’t quite sure on drive, it felt quite fidgety and there was something I can’t pin with the steering, but as I said it was only a short test drive. Anyway we got back sat at his desk and he insisted we discuss it over a tea or coffee and offered my daughter a fruitshoot before we proceeded (top marks for that) He started with the normal blur how are you where yo come from toda name, whilst looking on his laptop presumeably for stock. At this point I dropped the bombshell and said its Motabilty expecting the worse, he replied thats not a problem mr kezo (I nearly fell off my chair) I then proceeded to say I would never pay that much for a Motabiliy car, would you be interested selling the ex demo. He went away fora good 5 minutes and came back and said the car in question had an option pack can’t remember which one but was told it the most speced option and gave me a price of £38,498.47 basically 10 grand off new, if we were serious he’d throw some extra bits in, He said they also had pre reg in grey or the silver one we drove but, would have to work out the figures on the pre reg if we were prepared to wait. I told him I’d like an extended test drive so he could work out a figure on the pre reg. Going back tomorrow without daughter and we will have it for a few of hours on our own 🙂
As I said there were some reservations on our short test drive hopefully I can iron out or get more a grip of during the few hours we have with the car and come to a conclusion later tomorrow, if were happy put a deposit down Thursday.
