I was surprised that both the Ioniq 5 and EV6 have Apple car play and Android Auto over a cable only, the rest have wireless connectivity for convenience. It’s not a major thing but is worth considering.
You can buy a wireless kit for both Android Auto or Car Play. Although not what I’d call truely wiress as it requires a dongle that plugs into the USB socket on the car making your phone wireless. Carlink kits are one of the better ones, if it interests you ? Don’t forget the Ioniq ultimate also has ventilated front seats!
Yes mate, I’m aware of that, I’m just wondering whether I want to pick a car then buy a dongle to do what an alternative can do. The EV6 looks really nice, distinctive but doesn’t come with enough kit to justify the price, the AWD version would be the only justification but I don’t need it. The Ioniq only comes in shades of grey (even the blue and green options are greyish) and while that’s really not that much of a reason, I live with a wife and daughter who will nag me to death if I get a bad colour. The Nissan has the colours for the girls and the kit for me.
