    Running costs for an EV depend significantly on whether you can charge at home.  Costs for an EV can run from as little as 3p per mile or as much as 50p per mile from an overpriced public rapid charger.

    You don’t need to pay the highest price for an EV, the Enyaq is 5 grand cheaper and the Megane is cheaper still for its top spec model below 1 grand.  When you take the huge Enyaq 80 for £2,899 and try to find a similarly sized ICE (karoq?) the up front costs aren’t that far apart but whether fuel costs are a significant factor depends entirely on your mileage.
