I had a slightly worrying experience when requesting a test drive of the Enyaq. The “Motability specialist” at the dealership basically said he wouldnt want me to try and possibly choose a car that might not be on the scheme after 01/07/23. When I asked whether he had information I wasn’t a party to he said that was not the case but that these things do happen.
Now I may be reading too much into this as it may well be an example of the sometimes less than enthusiastic way Motability customers are treated. I’m able to order on or after 19/07/23 and am still hoping that the Enyaq will one of my options with a reduced up front cost but thought I would share my experience. He also said that the delivery time was likely to be 5 to 6 months if indeed the car was available.
