No, the trees are currently not on a preservation order. It is a Sycamore, and I have enquired about that before.
My local garage charges £50/Hour. I reckon an Arborist would charge the same rate as my local mechanic.
Unless he has a magic beanstalk, I cant see how his prices are beyond a mechanic with a garage.
