This recall is for the 2.5L Hybrid and Phev engine, the issue is potential cracks in the fuel system causing fires. It’s for cars made before April 20th, about 125,000 cars. Problem is they’re saying parts to fix it are not going to be available until Q3 or 4. There was another recall for the same problem in the 1.5L petrol engine versions back in November, over 620,000 cars were recalled worldwide.
Just a thought you dealership has state the Kuga FHEV you have ordered will not have Sync4, this maybe down to part shortages, the heating and air-condition will be control via SYNC4 screen, I do prefer the SYNC3 separate heating controls, plus I have a reliable Garmin Satnav with life time updates.
As regards the issues with the fuel system legally they will NOT be allowed to realise the vehicle.
You maybe receiving a 2023.75 revised Kuga with SYNC3 instead of SYNC4
Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.
