Re: the wing mirrors not folding, a similar question was asked on the VW Tiguan forum the other week but was pointed out that the mirror are programmed not to fold above a certain speed, not sure but think its just a few MPH in the VW and this is because its illegal to drive the car while in motion with the mirrors folded.
If you fold them while stopped in a tight spot to let something get by going the other way the mirrors will unfold as soon as you reach a preset speed even if the control on the door is still set to fold.
