I don’t mind the throat sound of a high perfomance car especially if they have carbs but, I guess that was inbred in me coming from a racing family, its even in my oldest son and daughter who now rally class b cars. Neither do I mind my music, especially with the amount of pot holes around here and the impossibility to dodge everyone, even in a EVC you’d here a thud then the ricocheting through your body. I very much doubt I’d have another car with 19 inch or larger again!
For me its the screaming these moped/scooters make and the tinny sound of a 1 litre fiesta with a large exhaust that does my head in or the drilling a hole in the back box to make it sound weird that goes through me..
Fast forward in time when the young ones have EV’s, you can bet there will be aftermarket noise generators to makeit scream or sound like a V8 lol!
