From my experience you need a doctors note if you only have 10 and below points for PIP but no note if you score 12 or more. If you have a Motability car then its not beyond even the dumbest dicks in our local councils to know you have at least 12 points.
On the other hand if its a new rule as I renewed mine this time last year so don’t know the latest, but if it is a new rule I now understand why it take forever, if your lucky, to get a doctors appointment. ?
