TBH in a way I was glad to see the back of Pension Credit with the DWP what seem to me, looking over my shoulder and wanting to rifle through my bank and savings accounts.
My saving took its toll when I went from over the average wage take home pay down to poverty benefits that were less than a 25% of what I was use to before becoming disabled over night.
It’s only now without PC that I’ve been able to save up for the AP on a suitable car and nice car because you could guarantee while saving, for instance, the £4K plus I needed for my current car the DWP would out of the blue ask to see my bank statement and with £4K plus rainy day savings laying around in there before the car was available they would stop the PC because I was too rich to qualify as it were.
