Idc7080 I’m sorry, but I totally disagree.
there is no means test for PIP, nor should there be. If a person want to spend a lot of money because they can afford to then that’s fine. What woukd be next\? Only the disabled in wheelchairs should only be catered for on the scheme?
I want to see more choice available, many PIp claimants work, many parents of children with PIP work and the choices should be much more open than currently available because of stupid price caps.
Currently there are 82 cars available up to an AP of £100, yes, mtgere should be more, but there should be more cars with all APs.
I have £11,000 put to one side for my next car, wehich the AP will be £5,000 plus, and if I want an Enyaq with the extra packages, tgat can hit £10,000 as they won’t put the Sportline version in the scheme because of this arbitrary max AP of £8,000.is my disability different to someone who has zero money for the AP and can get a grant to pay for the AP?
mire choice at all APs with no upper limit, every individual chooses how to spend their money and that’s how it should be, not people trying to only cover the lowest common denominator
