A storm is creeping in across the Severn Valley. The colours have been awe-inspiring over the last hour with a deep grey blanket of low cloud and rain obscuring the Cotswold Ridge before marching towards me across the farms and fields that stretch for miles. My garden has changed from vibrant colours to unearthly greens and yellows of many, many shades. The leaves were rustling on all our trees until a few minutes ago, and now they’ve gone deathly still. Nature is truly amazing.
