I went for the same as Winston, except for I had the black 17” alloys and I got the blackout privacy glass for an extra £250 with rebel green all over. I like the green and black look.?
I definitely wouldn’t change to a manual for anything. The auto is a good box and well worth it. The manual is also slower.
But I do like to use the paddles manually.
I still haven’t hooned it in sport mode I’ll just keep running it in as per the driver’s manual. It says 4K revs for 1200 miles for the engine and transmission, brakes tires and clutch are all about 300 miles.
I made the mistake of not running in an Astra Sri I had. I put it straight into sport mode and drove it too hard. A year later and I couldn’t get more than 18mpg from it. So I’m not risking the JCW, not yet anyway lol
