Having spent a lot of time watching videos of the Austral its definitely got my spidey senses tingling.
The interior looks very well in the car.
Having had full leather in a number of cars, when we took our current XC40 R Design it had half leather / half suede seats. It was gonna be a suck it and see, but after almost 3 years I have to say that one big positive has been that the seats don’t get roasting hot in summer.
That will be a huge positive in the Austral too with its half suede / half fabric seats. A real added bonus is the massage feature. I experienced that recently in a pals Citroen, and it woild be a huge bonus for both I and my wife.
I do like a dark headlining too given my light sensitive eyes.
Our Volvo dealership is Holdcroft and is based at their multi dealership Hanley hub in Stoke.
So if nothing happens on the Subaru front over the coming months, then we’ll extend our lease, and when we take the Volvo for its service and MOT in September, we’re gonna take advantage of Holdcrofts multi dealership central hub. We’ll take a short walk and checkout the Nissan X Trail, the Hyundai Tucson, the Mazda CX-5, and the Renault Austral, and just see what we make of them. See if anything motivates us, otherwise it will be no trouble at all to continue running the XC40 for a while longer.
