CATL’s 500Wh/kg “Qilin” semi sold state battery is interesting, although the 500Wh/Kg is probably measured on the cell level. Even so 620 mile NEDC is not to be snubed at.
Interestingly Nio’s 150Kw launched last year was a 360Wh/kg seni solid state battery made by “WeLion” is another 620 miler NEDC!
I very much doubt they will come in the affordable car market for a while sadly.
