We had a Tiguan and had a hoist fitted and used it with a Solax Genie auto fold scooter, cost us about £1300 for the scooter about 4 yrs ago. Mom died last year and we sold it for £800 so they do hold their value if looked after.
With it folded in 1 piece it takes about 1/2-2/3 of the boot space with the parcel shelf in place.
