Elliot, you could just get it remapped, I mean who’s going to know, as long as the mechanic doesn’t put a sticker on the engine saying its remapped, who’s going to know, increase the bhp and torque, win win
They can actually tell almost straight away if it’s been remapped or not when you take it to the dealers for a service. Then I’m pretty sure once Motability find out, that will lead to immediate termination of your lease. A mate of mine had his Ford Ranger pickup remapped and when he went to the dealership to pick it back up after a service he was told to get rid of the remap or the warranty would be invalid.
