Something is certainly a miss here!
Claims manager alegedly spoke to dealer yesterday, saying the grant has been withdrawn on said vehicle – dealer contacts you telling you this – dealer also say grants have tried to contact you but have not – Motability told you the cars ok or handover on Tuesday and presumably the cars still showing this evening in your online account.
I would presume Motability would have got wind of any alteration by the close of business yesterday and at the latest updated your online accountby the end of today, especially as, both Motabilty and grants are now closed for business untill Tuesday, the date of your collection!
It’s seems very strange your grant manager hasn’t contacted you directly via email/phone if there were a problem but, they haven’t, nor has Motability flagged up anything when speaking to them yesterday evening, nor is anything flagged in your online account today.
The only person seemingly to know anything about it is your dealer! Now I might be barking up the wromg tree here but, has the dealer pulled a fast one, selling the vehicle to a retail buyer and putting you on a waiting list!
I also think your grants manager would have contacted you within 24hrs of ordering, if they wern’t allowing yu to use the grant on that car. I also believe once youve recieved a letter of award, it is passed on to another department deals with the ordering process.
Check your online account tomorow and see what deliver timescale says.
