With all thats gone on in the party. I expect the SNP will find it extremely difficult finding any “professional” body. Any independant professional accountant who may be interested, will first speak (as they do) with SNP’s previous accountants and find out why they stopped doing the SNP’s accounts. Also with a “live” police investigation still very much ongoing, its highly unlikely any professional body will work or put their name to doing so. The only slim chance the SNP have of getting a professional auditor is with severe terms attached ad of a much higher costing. Even so the chances of this happening is next to zero, due to the high risk of their reputation…!
