To someone who can’t work but then asked to pay 7 grand it’s ridiculous like I want a choice as maybe I don’t want a base model car for example I fell in love the the ionic 5 but I couldn’t never afford the advance payment
As said many times on here, it depends on ones funds, priorites and credit history if you were to buy or lease of the scheme.
Personally I wouldn’t pay £7k plus sacrified benifits for a car on the scheme, that I will have nothing to show for it at the end of 3 or 5yr lease. I’m happy with a decent spec non premium brand. However you have to respect those that wish to pay the AP and have a car like like this. Afterall the scheme is for “everyone” and for those that are not willing or cannot afford, there’s the likes of the MG4 or ZS!
Away from the scheme as it looks like my next car will be I’d have no hesitation buying a newish/ex demo premium car as I’d have some value in it at the end 🙂
