It might be worth raising with your MP. They were mucking about with my renewal kept giving me 3 month extensions as they didn’t have capacity to make a decision about an assessment let alone the actual renewal it also meant I couldn’t renew my blue badge so I was really screwed.
My Tory MP sorted in a week, another 3 year award no assessment. Pretty impressed so might be worth a go.
