Here’s a first for me – despite being on the Motability scheme for nearly 30-years now! Took my Peugeot 208 GT in for its 2nd service today. They kindly loaned me a 22-plate 3008 which is like driving a tank in comparison! Anyway, get a call this afternoon to say car has been serviced. However, both front tyres are pretty low, 2.5 mm left on each (the legal limit is 1.6 mm), so the dealer has said they’ve contacted Motability who have given the OK to fit two brand new tyres. No tyres in stock, so do I want to keep the 3008 loan car overnight & they will fit the new ones to my car when they arrive tomorrow. As per Motability’s policy ; never had anyone fit new tyres other than KrapFit, so I’m chuffed to bits that I get to avoid going there this time round! Cheers Motability. Nice one!
We had Skoda replace them on a car about 5 years ago, our third car back. Was annoyed when they didn’t do them in the last two cars.
