When I last picked up one of my daughters from Heathrow I didn’t park at all. I checked flight trackers to see the projected landing time and drove as far as the nearest service station, timing my arrival for that time. Once I knew that the plane had landed I set off slowly from the service station and by the time I got to Heathrow my daughter was through baggage reclaim and customs and she walked out literally as I drove in to Meet & Greet. I can’t remember what I paid but it was the minimum fee.
