Tbh I did buy my previous car, a Golf. I did some calculations on the back of an envelope and didn’t come away feeling too bruised. Yes, they’re not doing it to be kind but I’d laden it with options and my lady friend wanted a new car.
That was just before the used market went mad so I’m still happy we did it (£8.4k)
