Ive just gone into last 3 months before lease end so called MB to see if I could purchase the car and they gave me a price without hesitation.
They said I had a choice. If I get a price today then I have to take the car at the end date of my lease but pay 3 weeks before that date. I would then be off the scheme until my new lease arrived.
Second option is don’t get a price today. Wait until I get a delivery date for my new car then I would have 30 days to complete my purchase.
They pointed out that you can only pick one as they only issue a value once (unless you extend).
The value they gave me is £1500 cheaper than what motorway offered me for the car. Taking into account it’s a large SUV still worth over 20k
