We have been on the motability scheme for a number of years. At the end of our last 3 year lease, we extended it as we could not find a suitable vehicle. I had a price to buy the car at £13750. Forward 2 more years and we still can’t find a suitable vehicle- the cost to buy is now given as £17,250!!!!. 2 more years payment and an increase of £3500. That is profiteering at its best.
