Thanks again for the reply. Another question for you, when you said you had privately ordered your Toyota Yaris I assume that was not on motability, if so was it a lease or were you buying it? I only ask because I have heard wait times are longer on leases which of course the motability scheme provides.
Indeed. My deal was a small deposit, fixed monthly payments, and an optional balloon payment at the end of the contract. Following three different delays, my car arrived within 7 odd months.
