I’m not at all convinced that the additional 10% benefit income is factored into current prices. I certainly haven’t noticed an across the board reduction in APs of over £1,000.
The £750 new vehicle payment seems to be more about encouraging people to remain in the scheme and is also in response to criticism about excess profits and surpluses that Motability have generated through, amongst other things, buoyant residual values.
