@Struth I don’t want to give you any hassle but could you check your meter for a 24 period with your heating on during this time and tell us how much it has cost you. If I remember correctly you are in the north of Scotland and tonight is forecast to be a particularly cold night so it would give a good indication of the maximum it would cost to keep your heating on 24/7.
well from midnight sun/mon to midnight mon/tues it was £4.20 for gas, but its been pretty cold the last week with snow and heavy frosts so not too bad considering. its usuall a bit less.
