Thule is the better make but pricey, might be worth loking on fleabay gumbay for a used set . The same goes for the branded Volvo ones.

I did have a set of Farad roof bars for my previous car just for the purpose of moving a set of heavy set of ladders I stored at my parents back home 20 miles away. They seemed good for purpose intended but went on fleabay soon after.
