When the government done away with tax discs on cars some councils wanted to see the Motability cars log book for proof of entitlement of parking concessions they may have had.
I had a copy sent to me for my last but one car and was an exact copy of the V5 sent on PDF form from MB however on my last car they sent what seem to be a DVLA copy that sort of look like something you could obtain on the internet.
Only had my new car a couple of weeks but this is timely reminder to get a copy on my new V5 if only to make sure my address is correct on it as the register keeper.
